Jail Breaking the Ipad 2 by Mitcheika Bryan 620031017

Jailbreaking is a process which allows individuals to acquire and benefit from the features or applications (apps) that has been locked or banned by Apple. Hacking, as it is sometimes called allows persons to download apps that will allow them to customize everything on their device from their home screen images to their icons. It also facilitates multitasking by running applications in the background (persons can listen to music and surf the web at the very same time) and allows persons to attach their iPads to their PC to use it as a modem. Once the device has been hijacked the users can still use all the applications on the official Apple store and iTunes; it is just that they have additional applications that are not officially available.
There is bad news for persons who own aniPad2 and were looking forward to benefiting from jailbreaking, as up to April 12, 2011 there have been no known exploit that can be used to jailbreak the iPhone Operating System (Ios) 4.3 on the iPad2. So the many rumors about the iPad2 jailbreak that have been circulating on Twitter and all the other sites turned out to be entirely false. According to iPhone-Dev.com’s official blog, the hacking doesn’t work with the iPad 2 because “it requires a bootrom or iBoot-level exploit to install, and theiPad2 is not susceptible to either the limera1n or SHAtter bootrom exploits.”
